Caylie Roth is a visual artist born and raised in Buffalo, New York. Her work is characterized by a bright, imaginative energy that seeks to evoke a sense of childlike wonder. While acrylic is her primary medium she explores a wide range of materials and techniques, believing that different ideas demand different tools, and is open to experimenting and pushing her boundaries.
“I aim to create pieces that invite viewers into a vivid, dreamlike world-one where the boundary between imagination and reality blurs. Much of my inspiration comes from nature: the organic lines of plants, the subtleties of how color is perceived, and the quiet magic found in everyday natural elements all influence the visual language of my art. These motifs are often embedded into my compositions and treatments, sometimes subtly and sometimes boldly.”
Caylie is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting at
SUNY Oswego and plans to pursue a Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus on Art Education. See more of her work on Instagram at @caylie.artist.
