Sharon Pieri is a self-taught artist working pine needle basketry out of Fairview, Pennsylvania.
She has been working with basketry for ten years, and brings past skills in pottery and jewelry to her practice
She has been working in the arts since 2006, and full time since retiring from a lifelong career in healthcare in 2013. Her work has been in Glass Growers Gallery in Erie, PA and in can be found in various shops in Westfield and Barcelona, NY. She was represented for several years in the Quachita Artists Gallery in Mount Ida, AR. Her most recent group show was with the Barber Center Art in Erie, PA.
