SUMMARY:Roycroft Summer Festival 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Roycroft Summer and Winter Festivals are the primary community engagement activities of the Roycrofters at Large. The Summer Festival is held each year on the final full weekend of June in East Aurora\, and the Winter Festival on the first full weekend in December. Our highly regarded festivals feature the work of Roycroft Masters and member Artisans from across the country\, supplemented with rigorously juried non-RALA Fine Artists and Artisans from the WNY Arts community. There is a nominal admission for entry\, to defray operational costs and fund raise for our 501(c)3 educational and outreach programs. Admission to festivals is free of charge to children and to our Patrons and Members as a feature of membership. Patronage and Annual Membership options and benefits can be found on our Membership Page. \nWe reserve four booths for Roycroft Emerging Artists in the Roycroft Summer Festival. This highly competitive Emerging Artists Program opens for applications in March of each year. \n​​The applications for the 2026 Roycroft Summer Festival is now open. \nThe Roycrofters-At-Large Association presents two (2) shows per year; The Roycroft Summer Festival and The Roycroft Winter Festival. \nThe Roycroft Summer Festival was originally featured on the grounds of the Historic Roycroft Campus. However\, in 2010 the campus grounds were undergoing major renovations and The Roycroft Summer show was moved a few blocks to the Parkdale Elementary School. Always looking to improve the show for both our artisans and our shoppers we have decided to move our show to The Classic Rink\, 41 Riley St\, in East Aurora. This gives us a partially protected venue in both rain and shine… you will still find the real Roycroft Artisans there each summer. \nThe Roycroft Winter Festival is held the first weekend in December at the Hampton Inn\, Olean Rd.\, East Aurora\, NY. \nBelow is a sound track featuring two of our Roycroft Master Artisans; Leah Corey and Thomas Pafk. DESCRIPTION:The 50th annual Roycroft Summer Festival returns! \nA WNY Arts & Crafts tradition\, marking 50 years of Roycrodft Renaissance in the heart of East Aurora: The 2026 Roycroft Summer Festival runs from 10 a.m until 5 p.m. on Saturday June 27 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday June 28 at the Classic Rink\, located at 41 Riley Street in the Village of East Aurora. The Classic Rink is an open air roofed venue that provides protection from elements and ensures a comfortable experience for attendees that includes ample parking. \nWith the festival centrally located in the village\, patrons can park once and take advantage of everything East Aurora has to offer\, including Main Street shops and restaurants. \nArtists looking to exhibit with the Roycroft Summer Festival may apply to jury through midnight on April 18\, 2026 at ralaweb.com.\nVisitors to the Festival will experience fine art in wood\, metal\, fabric\, jewelry\, clay\, glass\, book arts\, prints\, drawing\, painting\, and photography. The work is created by fine artists and craftspeople\, many of whom have gone through a rigorous jurying process. Roycrofters at Large Artisans have earned the right to use the “double R” mark of the Roycroft Renaissance and represent the very strongest in quality workmanship and design. \nThe 2026 Roycroft Summer Festival Door Prize is work by Roycroft Artisan in Jewelry Bonnie Hedden: \nThis sterling silver necklace by Roycroft Artisan Bonnie Hedden features a white freshwater pearl wrapped in sterling vines with a chain of micro faceted multi-color kyanites with chalcedony accents\, valued at $360. \nBonnie Hedden is Bonnie Hedden is an accomplished independent jewelry designer from Wellsboro\, PA. Her exceptional usage of color\, combined with clean lines\, creates beautiful jewelry\, and she is highly regarded across the country for her skill and eye for composition. Hedden has been a juried Roycroft Artisan in Jewelry since 2022\, and holds multiple awards\, mostly recently\, 2nd place in Jewelry by the jurors of the Allentown Art Festival.
